Di Maria's wife's viral rant: The food in England is disgusting, the women are made of porcelain
A VIDEO of Jorgelina Cardoso, Angel Di Maria's wife, from two years ago has turned up again. In the video, Di Maria's partner talked about how hard it was for her to live in England.
Di Maria played for Manchester United for just one season. He had trouble finding his form, so he left for Paris Saint-Germain.
"Awful! Manchester is the worst. "It's all terrible, Manchester," Cardoso said on the Argentinian station El Trece's show "LAM."
Cardoso went on to say that Real Madrid was the best team in the world, pointing out that Di Maria had won the Champions League with the Spanish club before he left.
"We lived in Madrid, and Angel played for Real Madrid, which was the best team in the world.
"We were perfect, the weather was perfect, the food was great, and all of a sudden this offer from Manchester United came up.
"'No way. I told him, "You're going on your own," Cardoso said.
"He told me, "Yes, yes, we're going." It was a lot of money, and when we got to Spain, people started calling us assassins. If you work for a company and a rival offers you twice as much, wouldn't you leave?"
Cardoso also said on 'LAM' that after meeting her friend Gianinna Maradona in Manchester, she told Di Maria she wouldn't move to England.
"Let them buy you from somewhere other than England. We went to England a year after that. Bullshit," she said.
Cardoso then went on to say bad things about everything in England, from its food to its women.
"I didn't like it at all. All of the people are white, clean, and strange. You don't know if they are going to kill you or not when they walk around. "The women are made of porcelain, and the food is disgusting," Cardoso said.
Cardoso did say, though, that those tough months in England made her bond with Di Maria stronger.
"When bad things happen to us, we stick together," she said.
"I didn't tell him, 'It's your fault that we're in Manchester. I told him, "Love, I want to kill myself. It's 2:00 pm, and it's already dark." He told me, "It's awful, but don't worry, we'll be able to do it."
