How much did James Earl Jones make for Star Wars? Net worth explored as Hollywood legend retires as voice of Darth Vader

How much did James Earl Jones receive for Star Wars?
As a Hollywood icon retires as the voice of Darth Vader, his net worth is being looked into.

The latest issue of Vanity Fair said that James Earl Jones will stop being the voice of Darth Vader in Star Wars. Before Obi-Wan Kenobi came out this year, he was already a part of the series. Matthew Wood, who works as a sound director, said that Jones planned to leave the job after The Rise of Skywalker came out in 2019.
The rights to the part have now been bought by Lucasfilm and Respeecher, an AI audio company in Ukraine. The founder of Respeecher, Alex Serdiu, stated that Jones was replaced during the making of Obi-Wan Kenobi and said, "I can't say yes or no on James Earl Jones. Obi-Wan Kenobi still knows a lot of things that no one else does. But we were sending data bits to Skywalker Sound for Obi-Wan Kenobi when the invasion of Ukraine started."
Jones has stopped playing Vader, but according to Respeecher and Lucasfilm, they want to bring him back as Vader.

The last time we saw the figure was in ads for the new Star Wars series Andor on Disney+. At the same time, Lucasfilm's films and Disney+ shows are slowly moving away from the Skywalker Saga story. This means that Vader might have a small part in a later movie.

James Earl Jones made a lot of money from Star Wars.

James Earl Jones is one of the most well-known players in films, TV, and the theatre. He has also won several awards, including three Tony Awards, one Grammy Award, and one Emmy Award. He has worked in show business for many years.

CelebrityNetWorth says that the 91-year-old man has a net worth of about $40 million. His acting job has been his main source of income, and he made a lot of money from voicing Darth Vader in Star Wars in 1977.

James Earl Jones didn't think the movie would do well when he was cast in it. The star got a cut of the movie's total earnings, and after recording his lines for a few hours in the studio, he was paid $7,000. Jones said he thought the money he was paid was "good money."
Jones lost a lot of money, though, because Star Wars made about $775 million at the box office.
Jones's first show on Broadway was in 1957, and his first movie was the black comedy Dr. Strangelove, which came out in 1964. In the 1980s and 1990s, he was in many films that did well at the box office, such as Conan the Barbarian, Matewan, Coming to America, and The Lion King. He played Mufasa again in the 2019 version of "The Lion King," and he played King Jaffe Joffer again in the Coming 2 America sequel.
