The Chief of Staff of the Presidential Palace, Professor Ibrahim Gambari said he came to Kebbi state to deliver a secret message to Governor Abubakar Atiku Bagudu and Emir Of Gwandu, Alhaji Muhammadu Iliyasu Bashar from President Muhammadu Buhari.
Professor Ibrahim Gambari said this while talking to the press at the government house in Birnin Kebbi, after he returned from the royal palace to the government house where he had a private conversation with Governor Bagudu for about an hour before his departure.
He also said, "I was sent by the president to Kebbi state to talk with Governor Abubakar Atiku Bagudu and the Emir of Gwandu, Alhaji Muhammadu Iliyasu Bashar, President Buhari is grateful for the support they have given him during his tenure." ".
