💰$200 MILLION NET WORTH (2023)

Jon Peters is a movie producer who is thought to be worth $200 million. Peters earned this enormous net worth via 30 years of producing multi-award-winning work. In the 1970s, he oversaw Barbara Streisand's early music and film careers as well. Californian-born Peters worked as a hairdresser at a family salon on Rodeo Drive before rising to prominence as one of Hollywood's top film producers. He began dating Barbra Streisand during this time after creating a short wig for her to wear in the 1974 movie For Pete's Sake. A flawless working alliance was born along with the romance. Peter co-produced the updated version of A Star is Born and the 1974 album Butterfly by Streisand. The 1976 movie got four Oscar nominations and nearly $100 million in box office revenue. Peters later produced a number of top singles for Streisand's Grammy-winning albums.

As a fully-fledged producer by this point, Peters teamed up with Peter Guber to found Polygram Productions, subsequently known as Boardwalk Company, in 1980. The Guber-Peters Company was established three years later. Flashdance, The Color Purple, Witches of Eastwick, Rain Man, and Batman are just a few of the blockbusters they created collectively. Guber-Peter partnered with Chuck Barris Production to form Guber-Peters-Barris, which saw a quick increase in size. Batman (1989), the newly established company's most popular production, led to a multi-million dollar deal with Warner Bros. But there was a better offer: Sony Pictures made the pair a one-billion-dollar deal to lead the corporation, which they accepted. Peters founded Peters Entertainment after working for Sony for two years and producing blockbusters including Batman Returns, Wild Wild West, Ali, and Superman Returns. Peters was nominated for over 250 awards, including numerous Grammys, Golden Globes, and Oscars. The total revenue of Peters Entertainment is thought to exceed $6 billion.
