Space intelligence launch North Korea

North Korea will launch its first satellite to investigate military spying activities in space to track movements from the US and South Korea

The vice president of North Korea's military monitoring agency, Ri Pyong Chol, said that the satellite device in space is needed to stop what he called the pointless military exercises that the United States is doing with South Korea.

The announcement comes a day after North Korea notified the Japanese coast guard of the mission it said it would implement between May 31 and June 11. She said that the launch of the satellite will affect the East China Sea and Luzon Island in the east of the Philippines

While the West has criticized North Korea's attempt to launch the satellite, it is not clear whether the satellite's power is sufficient to monitor US and South Korean military activities.
