The Chairman of Katsina State Emergency Relief Agency Receives the Invitation of the Officials (NEMA) to Support Those Affected by the Floods in Katsina

 The Chairman of the State Emergency Relief Agency (SEMA), Alhaji Haruna Musa Yar'adua, has welcomed the officials of the National Emergency Relief Agency who have come to Katsina state to provide support to those affected by the floods in the area.  and the message of Katsina state last year, to ease the pain of what happened to them.

 In his welcome speech at the meeting room of the Commission's Office yesterday, the Secretary General of the Katsina State Emergency Relief Agency, Alhaji Haruna Musa Yar'adua stated that the federal government has done a great job on the support it sent to Katsina state, which the people  nine thousand seven hundred and seventy (9770) victims of the flood and those with low income.

 Alhaji Haruna Musa Yar'adua added that the agency will ensure that justice is done in the distribution of goods to see the victims of the floods in Katsina state.  The items to be distributed include maize, rice, a threshing machine, a sewing machine and soybeans.  He vowed to find those affected by the disaster wherever they are, the administration and the government of Katsina state, we are ready to give all the necessary support to ensure that these resources are distributed successfully.

 Also speaking, the National Emergency Relief Agency Regional Officer in charge of Katsina State, Alhaji Abbani Garki said that as a result of the floods that occurred in some areas of Katsina State, the Emergency Relief Agency  The National Agency (NEMA) has found it appropriate to provide support to those affected by the floods in Katsina state, now support materials have been brought to 9770 people who will benefit.  He also congratulated the president on his appointment to this position.

 The meeting was attended by stakeholders, including experts from the National Emergency Relief Agency sent to manage the distribution of the aid and who will oversee the distribution of the goods in the corners of Katsina state.  and the representative of the Commissioner of Police in Katsina State and the representative of the Commanding Officer of the Civil Defense Agency and the non-governmental organizations and the Katsina State Resource Management Agency and the directors of the Katsina State Emergency Relief Agency.
