Sale Mamman, the former Minister of Electricity, is now being sent to Abuja to work at the offices of the Anti-Economy Authority. This is because he is accused of stealing 22 million naira. The Daily Trust newspaper said that the ex-minister was taken into custody on Wednesday.

A source told the newspaper that Sale Mamman, who was minister from 2019 to 2021, is accused of working with officials from the Ministry of Electronics to steal up to 22 million nairas from a project to build electrical stations in Zungeru and Mambila. They then split the money between themselves.

The person also said that a lot of the former minister's property and money have been found in Nigeria and other countries. He has found millions of naira and US dollars in his hands, for example.

Reports say that the EFCC will keep holding on to the former minister of power until it gets the information it needs from him.

The EFCC agency hasn't told anyone that the former Minister of Electronics is going to be arrested until now. We're telling you the story now.
