Tunisian police killed Jewish worshipers and security officers
In an attack by a policeman on Tuesday in a well-known mosque in Tunisia, at least two Jews and two Ibadan officers were killed.
Four visitors to the Ghriba mosque on the island of Djerba and five other security employees were hurt in the attack, according to the Tunisian Ministry of Interior, which also reported that the attacker was killed.
The names of the two Ibadan residents who were slain have not been publicized, but according to a statement from the Tunisian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, one was a 42-year-old Frenchman and the other was a 30-year-old Tunisian.
According to the Ministry of Interior, the incident was carried out after the attacker began firing at one of his teammates and was hit.
