Ukraine has no intention of attacking Russia - Zelensky
Volodymyr Zelensky, the president of Ukraine, said that his country has no plans to fight Russia.
This is what Mr. Zelensky said while he was in Germany, which had given his country a lot of important defense tools.
"We are not attacking Russia," he said after his meeting with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz.
"We are attacking our cities that are in their hands to take them back,"
Mr. Zelensky said.
Olaf Scholz, the head of the German government, has promised to help Ukraine. He has promised to send weapons to the country, which will cost $2.4 billion.
This includes big tanks and warplanes to protect Ukraine from Russian drones that hit every day.
Mr. Zelensky said that this new promise was "the biggest support since the Russian invasion of Ukraine in February of last year."
