125 Nigerians who are stuck in Sudan will arrive in Abuja this Saturday

125 Nigerians who were stranded in Sudan on Saturday as a result of the ongoing turmoil in Sudan have been announced by the Nigerian government to have returned.

This was mentioned in a statement released on Saturday by Abdur-Rahman Balogun, the director of NiDCOM's media and public relations department.

He stated in a statement that 125 Nigerians were on board Tarco Airline's ST-TAL B737-300 when it picked them up today, Saturday, June 24, 2023, at 10:45 a.m.

Official sources indicate that it will take 2 hours and 50 minutes to arrive from Port Sudan (PZU) to Juba (JUB).

Before continuing on to Abuja, the aircraft would make an hour-long stop in Juba.

From Juba to Abuja, the flight will take 3 hours and 30 minutes, for a total of 7 hours and 30 minutes.

At around 5:45 p.m. Nigerian time, the plane is anticipated to land in Abuja, according to Balogun.

In the previous two months, the administration of the nation has returned over 2000 Nigerians who had escaped the fighting in Sudan.
