14 countries have qualified for the 2023 AFCON tournament in Cote d'Ivoire
After the fifth qualifying round at the weekend, 14 out of 24 teams have qualified for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations. Cote d'Ivoire will be in seventh place.
The Super Eagles of Nigeria and Guinea-Bissau have already qualified from Group A. Next are Cape Verde and Mali from Groups B and G, respectively, after their games this weekend.
Ivory Coast, which is hosting the tournament, Senegal, Algeria, Burkina Faso, Egypt, Equatorial Guinea, Morocco, South Africa, Tunisia, Zambia, and Zambia are some of the other countries that have made it to the tournament.
On Tuesday, three more games will be played to finish up the fifth round of playoffs.
Sao Tome and Principe, Botswana, Lesotho, Madagascar, Libya, Liberia, Comoros, South Sudan, and Ethiopia have already missed their chance to join the race.
