 Abba Gida-gida replaced Muhuyi as the head of the Anti-Corruption Commission

The former Governor of Kano State, Umar Ganduje, fired Muhyi Magaji as head of the Public Complaints and Prohibition Commission. The new Governor of Kano State, Abba Yusuf, has now taken over that job.

In a statement written by Kano Governor's Publicity Secretary Sanusi Bature on Saturday, he told the media that Magaji was put back on the job right away, as the court had ordered.

After he complained about his commission from the state Accountant General's Office, he was banned by the Kano Legislative Council in July 2021.

Then he went to court, and the judge said he should be sent back, but the Ganduje Government refused to do what the judge said.

Before the 2023 polls, the successor went back to Kwankwasiyya.
