Floods killed seven people in South Africa
A flood in South Africa's Kwazulu-Natal province has already claimed the lives of seven people, with authorities anticipating an increase in that number.
After the province was hammered early in the week by torrential rainfall, strong winds, and thunderstorms, the flood significantly damaged numerous regions in the southeast of the province.
The bodies of two women, including a 20-year-old and a little child, were found in the city of Durban.
According to the provincial officials, more than 150 people lost their homes and at least 70 residences were damaged.
The National Disaster Management Authority is still evaluating the flood's damage.
