GOVERNOR SOLUDO'S ADVICE TO THE IGBO TRIBE: 'Come back and rebuild your region, to save your dignity'
The entire Igbo tribe in Lagos has been told by Anambra State Governor Charles Soludo to concentrate on the development of their state in order to preserve their pride.
During a meeting he had with the Anambra State natives living in Lagos, Soludo made this call.
The governor attended an engineering conference at the University of Lagos, according to a statement from Governor Soludo's media spokesperson, Christian Aburime.
"There is no doubt that they will not treat you with respect here in Lagos if you don't move to build your area." Soludo said.
In order to ensure Anambra State's growth, Soludo urged the residents of the state to remain tenacious.
"This is the query I continually pose to myself. Because it is within our rights to further develop Anambra than we have already done.
Following the demolition of 17 stores by the Lagos Government at Alaba Market, Lagos, Soludo took this decision.
