Greece rescued 145 migrants

At the international borders with Turkey, thousands of refugees, mostly from Syria, Afghanistan, and Pakistan, used to come into Greece. But Greece helped some people who were stuck on Evros Island.

No one knows the migrants' names or where they are from, but the Greek government has stated that people who were trying to smuggle them into the country left them on this island. This isn't the first time that people traffickers have sent people to Greece.

The Greek government often says that Turkey lets refugees cross into Greece. At the beginning of June, 91 people were saved because Greece worked in this area. but not as much as Turkey.
