Major General Ochai Becomes the New 32nd NDA Commander

The new Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Major General Taoreed A. Lagbaja, is making changes to how the military officers work. On Monday, June 26, 2023, Major General John O. Ochai became the Commandant of the 32nd Nigerian Army Academy (NDA) in Kaduna.

Major General Ibrahim M. Yusuf, who had been in charge for 33 years, turned the job over to him.

Major General Yusuf gave a short speech at the NDA offices during the leadership handover meeting. He thanked God for giving him the chance to be one of the people in charge of the NDA College.

He also thanked everyone at the college for helping him while he was president and asked them to work with his replacement, who he said was a great officer and fit for the job.
