Sol Xochitl

The boxer Mike Tyson was previously married to a woman known as Sol Xochitl. During the 2000s, Xochitl and the Baddest Man On The Planet were in a relationship together, and during that time, they welcomed two children into the world.

Sol, in contrast to Mike's prior significant others, did not benefit to the same extent from the privileges that would normally come with being in a relationship with a famous athlete. Given that the majority of the boxer's previous girlfriends and partners acknowledge that they had a fantastic time when dating him, it's possible that Sol was the only person who didn't get to experience his lavish lifestyle of Mike in any way, shape, or form.

Continue reading to find out why Xochitl's situation was the way that it was. You should also read about the frighteningly bleak episode that occurred in her life and how she has been coping with the trauma ever since it occurred.

Sol Xochitl Is A Mexican

Xochitl was born around the year 1975 or 1976. According to legend, Xochitl was born in Mexico to two Mexican parents. This would make her nationality Mexican. Her ex-boxer lover has referred to her in some contexts as "Mexican."

Aside from that, there is not much else to say about Tyson's ex-girlfriend, especially when discussing her life before she was involved with the famed boxer. She is very likely the former relative of a star whose name is mentioned the least.

Xochitl Met Mike Tyson At A Strip Club

Tyson admits that he and Sol first crossed paths at a strip joint in Phoenix, Arizona. When Sol first met the boxer, she was working as a stripper at the time. In Mike's biography, though, she is referred to as Shelley.

The man who formerly held the title of undisputed world heavyweight champion stated that he had a lot of respect for Shelley.

"Not only did she make sure that her home was spotless, but she also spent a lot of time with me. Was a health and fitness fanatic, so whenever I worked out or went running, she would join me on the run. I'd run five miles, she'd run ten. She would always beat me by one step."

Michael shares with Shelley that he and Shelley both tried to focus on improving their relationship. He told her that she should talk to Mike's friend Hope and that she should ask Hope for advice on how to make Mike happy.

Sol was a health and fitness fanatic, and not even Mike could compete with her.

Shelley joined in on the fun that Mike and his helper Darryl were having with a medicine ball that weighed fifteen pounds, and Mike reminisces about the time in the book when Shelley did so. Iron Mike continues his story by describing how he and Sol tossed the ball two hundred and fifty times, which caused Mike to experience discomfort; yet, Sol continued to throw the ball with Darryl.

This Mexican girl must have thrown five hundred times while weighing only ninety pounds. She was the one who brought us to our knees. Mike writes about his previous relationship with his girlfriend.

Mike Was Completely Broke When Xochitl Dated Him

During the period when Sol was dating Tyson, the latter owed approximately $27 million, with approximately $17 million of that amount being delinquent taxes owed to both the Internal Revenue Service and the English tax department. The remaining ten million dollars were designated for his personal expenses, which included the alimony he was required to pay to his ex-wife Monica as part of their divorce settlement, payment for his mortgages, and enormous legal bills.

According to Tyson, he basically gave up his house because he was so discouraged and stressed out by the whole process of filing for bankruptcy. He goes on to tell how despite the fact that he did not have a bout booked, he still trained and got high.

In the meantime, he visited Phoenix and spent some time with Sol there. The New Yorker admitted that he and his then-girlfriend, Xochitl, were living in such abject poverty that they were forced to eat Frosted Flakes and Twizzlers for dinner.

Tyson says that from time to time, in order to get himself over the hump financially, he would set up an autograph signing somewhere and charge twenty-five dollars for each of the signatures he signed.

Sol Almost Didn't Have Her Son Miguel Leon

Mike acknowledges to Sol that he told her that she would not be having Miguel Leon. The boxer reveals that at the time he was going through a difficult financial condition and had no idea how he would be able to take care of another child.Miguel Leon, who is now a multi-instrumentalist who plays the drum, guitar, and piano, was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to travel the world.

The times, once more, were not favorable. Tyson was having financial difficulties when his then-girlfriend, Xochitl, became pregnant with her second kid and Tyson's fifth child, Exodus Tyson. During this time, Sol was pregnant with Tyson's late daughter. During the time that Sol had just given birth to Exodus, Tyson had paid a significant amount of fine money to a neighborhood resident. Before the birth of his late daughter, the boxer had caused damage to his car at some point in time.

Therefore, Mike attempted to set up a fight between them so that he could make some quick money. He would eventually compete against Kevin McBride, but he would end up losing to him. Tyson will end his career as a professional boxer not long after the fight was over.

Sol Xochitl Did Her Best To Keep Her Daughter Alive

On May 26, 2009, Sol and her then-partner would have to confront the saddest time of their lives: the passing of their daughter, Exodus. This event would be the turning point in their lives. While they were at home in Arizona, their daughter was playing on a treadmill when she became entangled in the cord that was attached to it.

The next thing that happened was that Exodus lost consciousness, and after that, her brother Miguel found her, and then her mother arrived. After freeing her daughter from her restraints, Sol quickly dialed 911 despite the fact that she was in the middle of cleaning the house. In subsequent records, it was revealed that Exodus' mother "did all that she could when this tragic accident occurred."

According to Sgt. Andy Hill, Xochitl began performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and continued to do so until the arrival of police and firefighters. It was clear from the conversation between Shelley and the dispatcher that she had discovered blood in her child's mouth. After that, the dispatcher gave her instructions to clean up the blood and begin performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation, both of which she performed.

According to the recordings from the 911 call, Shelley can be heard saying, "My baby!" to the dispatcher. She can't breathe!

The recording of the discussion also showed that Xochitl was continuously crying while she was still attempting to get her daughter to breathe again. Despite this, Sol would be forced to say goodbye to her daughter the next day, when she was rushed to the St. Joseph hospital.

Why Did Xochitl Disappear?

After the unfortunate event that resulted in the loss of her daughter, Xochitl became a name that was utterly forgotten. After Exodus passed away, she was so distraught that she was unable to care for her other child, Miguel, according to what Mike wrote in his book, Undisputed Truth.

There is no reason to doubt that she is still grieving the death of her daughter, but it is possible that the anguish she feels has lessened to some degree in the time since the tragedy occurred. For the time being, Xochitl is nothing more than a name that was once connected to a famous person who is now completely forgotten about. Xochitl has been relegated to the annals of history.
