The Nigerian Air Force Appointed New Commanders

Since President Tinubu chose the new Chief of Air Force, the Nigerian Air Force has changed for the first time since then.

Air Vice Marshall Hassan Bala Abubakar, who is in charge of the Air Force, has given the go-ahead for 90 top officers to be moved to different parts of the country.

Air Commodore AK Famuyiwa, who was the Air Force's last spokesman, said in a statement that the change affected the chief officers at the fighters' headquarters and the leaders of different forces.

The security centre now has a new officer in charge of policy and security. His name is AVM Sayo Olatunde.

AVM Ibikunle Daramola, who used to be the spokesperson, will keep his job as chief of communications. AVM Pious Oahimire will be the new chief of aircraft repair, and AVM Uche Nwagwu will be in charge of the budget and finances.

The new officer in charge of administration is AVM Idi Sani. The new officer in charge of quality work is AVM Michael Onyebashi. The officer in charge of the health department will still be AVM Anthony Ekpe.

Also, new Air Force leaders have been named in the states of Kaduna, Lagos, Benue, and Abuja.

AVM Adeniyi Amesinlola is now the Commandant of the Military Resettlement Centre in Oshodi, Lagos. AVM Hassan Alhaji is the Commandant of the Military Officers College in Jaji, and AVM Sani Rabe is the Commandant of the Air Force Technical Centre.

AVM Adebayo Kehinde is now the Commandant of the Air Force Combat Training College in Markudi. AVM Esseng Efanga is now the Commandant of the Air Warfare Centre, and Air Commodore Edward Gwabket is the new Air Force spokeswoman.
