We Will Not Pay The Employees Hired By Ganduje Until We Check Them - Kano Government

The Kano state administration has guaranteed state workers that they would begin receiving their June paychecks today, Monday, June 26, 2023.

Alh. Abdulkadir Adussalam, the state's chief accountant general, announced this during a press conference with the media on Sunday in Kano.

According to him, state governor Abba Kabir Yusuf directed that all civil servants receive their pay on the 25th of each month.

According to Abdulkadir, the newly employed employees won't get paid this month since the state government will examine the legality of the hiring procedure before they start getting paid each month.

The accountant further guaranteed that everyone, including pensioners, would receive their entire income in the event that any money was improperly withheld from workers' paychecks by the government.
