A protest was held in Enugu against the IPOB's Home Stay Act
every Monday by the unrecognised separatist organisation IPOB
Under the direction of civil society organisations, city residents organised a peaceful demonstration and invited people to leave their regular routines.
Onyinye Mammah, the rally's organiser, claimed that the demonstration was called because the stay-at-home rule was still hurting local business owners and the southeast region's economy.
On the other side, Enugu State Urban Development Agency employees have been closing the stores of business owners who decline to open because they are abiding by the rule requiring them to stay at home.
