Arsenal completed the transfer of Rice from West Ham

Declan Rice, an English midfielder, has been officially acquired by Arsenal from West Ham for a reported $100 million plus $5 million in bonuses.

The 24-year-old said in an open letter to West Ham supporters that his choice to quit the club was not an easy one after the Gunners' announcement.

Rice has agreed to a five-year contract with Arsenal, with an additional year's option.
