Authorities have banned demonstrations in Niger
After the military coup in the Republic of Niger, the ruling party's offices and property were destroyed, and the Ministry of Internal Affairs outlawed all protests.
Any sort of demonstration is now forbidden, according to the ministry's statement. The law will be upheld, and anyone who breaks it will be punished by the authorities.
The ministry emphasised that action must be taken since the government will not tolerate the misuse of resources by dishonest people.
Additionally, she asked that the security personnel be sure to defend government and public property.
