Authorities in Niger have rescued at least 60 children who were being trafficked
The Republic of Niger's Commission for Community Development and Protection of Children's Rights rescued at least 60 children from enslavement between 2022 and 2023.
The organisation also reported that several people were incarcerated in the men's house for human trafficking to other countries.
Niger has improved its human trafficking and abuse legislation.
