1. The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or the method used by the Scholar's college or university will be utilized to establish the complete cost of attendance* that is not already covered by other financial aid and the estimated family contribution.
2. Tuition, fees, accommodation and board, books, and transportation are all included in the cost of attendance, along with maybe other ancillary expenses.
Requirements and Qualifications for the Bill Gates Scholarship Program
In order to apply, students must:
1. A senior in high school
2. At least one of the following racial or ethnic groups: African-American,
3. Pell-eligible students who are Indian/Alaska Native*, Asian & Pacific Islander American, or Hispanic
4. A national or permanent resident of the US
5. Have a minimum cumulative weighted GPA of 3.3 on a scale of 4.0 (or an equivalent) and be in good academic standing.
6. In addition, a student must intend to enroll full-time in a four-year degree program at a private, public, or not-for-profit college or university that is accredited by the US.
7. *Proof of tribal enrollment is necessary for American Indian and Alaska Native applicants.
