China and the United States will start talks on global warming on Monday

John Kerry, the US envoy to China for climate change, arrived in Beijing on Sunday with the goal of beginning discussions with China over global warming as the two major nations resumed in-depth negotiations following months of hostilities.

John Kerry, who is visiting China for the third time, is travelling there at a time when climate change is having an impact, particularly on the earth, where heat waves are being felt in many regions.

China is one of the regions affected by the heat, and its capital, Beijing, has been experiencing temperatures of about 40 degrees Celsius for weeks.

John Kerry will meet with Xie Zhenhua while he is in China through Wednesday.

The two biggest polluters in the world, China and the United States, are the first major nations to skip environmental negotiations in almost a year. In August of last year, China halted these discussions in an effort to protest the visit of the president of the parliament. Nancy Pelosi, US ambassador to Taiwan.
