Ganduje Complained About Denying 10,000 Workers He Hired Salaries

Abba Kabir Yusuf, the current governor of Kano state, has come under fire from the former governor of Kano state, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, for suspending the pay of 10,000 of the workers he hired.

In a statement released on Wednesday as part of the observance of the Great Prayer, the former governor made the complaint. Muhammad Garba, the former information commissioner for Kano State, released the statement.

In a time when people are concerned about how they might preserve their lives, Ganduje said that the suspension of the payment of the salaries of the workers he hired has caused panic in the hearts of the mining workers.

He voiced his displeasure at the current governor of Kano state's decision to revoke the promotion and pay level offered to primary school teachers, joining the prior governor in doing so.
