Ganduje sent Gawuna's name to be given the position of Minister

While the names of the ministers are being chosen, some reports claim that Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, the former governor of Kano state, has submitted the name of Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna, his former deputy and the APC candidate for the 2023 election, for the job of minister.

In the past, several newspapers said that Ganduje's name had been removed from the list of candidates for the position of minister.

It was later revealed that President Bola Tinubu had directed him to choose the appropriate Kano residents.

Rumours that Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna's name was not on the list of ministers whose names were anticipated to emerge have been dispelled as a result of this episode.

The insider also informed the publication that Abdullahi Adamu would be replaced by Ganduje as the APC's interim national chairman.

In addition, he applied for positions in the federal government on behalf of Rabi'u Suleiman Bichi and Alhaji Usman Alhaji, the former secretary to the Kano state administration.

However, there is an ongoing conflict in Kano politics between Kwankwasiyya's camp and the faction of the former governor Ganduje, since both of them desire to have representation in President Tinubu's administration.
