The Waislitz Global Citizen Awards are yearly cash prizes with a total value of $250,000 that honor people for the excellence of their work in eradicating extreme poverty. The Waislitz Foundation, Global Citizen, Mesoblast Ltd., and Unico Capital Holdings, two of the top manufacturers of cellular therapeutics with headquarters in the US and Australia, jointly deliver the awards.
"It is our duty to eradicate extreme poverty; it is not a choice. Alex Waislitz, Chairman and Founder of the Melbourne-based Waislitz Foundation, expressed his hope that it will motivate thousands of individuals throughout the world to take whatever action they can to improve the level of living of those who are most in need.

Global Citizen Scholarship Information
A group of involved individuals known as Waislitz Global Citizen is utilizing their collective voice to abolish extreme poverty by the year 2030. As part of a global community dedicated to long-lasting change, Global Citizens utilize our platform to learn about the systemic causes of extreme poverty, take action on those concerns, and receive rewards for their efforts. Global Citizen collaborates with NGOs and business sponsors to deliver audience and value in unique and effective ways. We are able to accomplish measurable policy outcomes because to our specialized capacity to mobilize large audiences.
The purpose and advantages of the Global Citizen Waislitz Scholarship from the Global Citizen Awards
The three awards totaling $250,000 are part of the 2023 Waislitz Global Citizen Awards.
1. Waislitz Waislitz Global Citizen Award ($100,000, Grand Prize)
2. The Waislitz Global Citizen Disruptor Award, worth $75,000.
3. The Waislitz Global Citizens' Choice Award, worth $75,000.
The three winners will get monetary awards as well as editorial pieces that will be published on the Global Citizen website and social media.
Waislitz Global Citizen Requirements Global Citizens Awards Requirements
1. Participants must be at least 18 years old; 2. They may come from any country in the world; and 3.
3. Any person who is engaged in meaningful work and who owns a registered legal business, such as a non-profit, for-profit, B-corp, social enterprise, etc., is eligible to apply.
4. Individual applications are required for the awards.
Date, Method, and Location of the Global Citizen Waislitz Interview Evaluation Standards for Global Citizen Awards
All applicants will be judged on their own merits, taking into account the following five important criteria:
How does the applicant reflect and embody the principles and behaviors of a global citizen?
2. PROOF OF CONCEPT: Does the applicant have a solid proof of concept that has had an impact on eradicating extreme poverty for at least one to two years?
3. DISRUPTION: Has the applicant disrupted the structures that enable extreme poverty to persist by making a demonstrable impact?
4. SCALABILITY: How would this award help the applicant scale their work or improve it?
5. ADAPTABILITY: Can the applicant provide examples of how they have changed and evolved in response to changing circumstances?
