Michigan State University Scholarship At least two awards of up to $1,000 can be made each year by the Miriam J. Kelley African Scholarship. The calibre of the proposals and the resources available in the fiscal year in which funds are proposed for expenditure determine the number of awards made and the actual award sums.
Proposals may ask for funding for tuition or for additional educational costs like conducting research or completing a dissertation. Also taken into account are personal, family, and educational costs. We'll also take into account requests for a portion of the cost of a conference.

Michigan State University requirements Qualifications for the Miriam J. Kelley African Scholarship Grant
In order to qualify for the Miriam J. Kelley African Scholarship Grant Programme, applicants must fulfill the requirements listed below:

Applicants must be African MSU students in good standing academically. Applicants must be MSU students on a temporary visa (the grant emphasises the educational advancement of women).
Applicants must have a demonstrated ability to attain their educational goals and the assertiveness to look for additional opportunities to advance their studies. Applicants must also outline the variables that indicate the possibility of them returning to their home country.

How to Apply
Send applications to the Office for International Students and Scholars, 103 International Centre, if you're interested in the Miriam J. Kelley African Scholarship Grant Programme. Two sections make up the application: a narrative and two supporting letters.
Part I: Your narrative should cover the following subjects and not exceed three single-spaced pages:
A general summary of the applicant's educational objectives and how the suggested activities would contribute to achieving those objectives (what you will do, why, where, and with whom).
The activities' specific goals and the potential long- or short-term benefits for the student and their nation of origin.
A budget overview outlining the projected costs of the activities and any additional funding—confirmed or pending—that the student will receive from the university or from outside sources throughout the time period of these activities.
Part II: Letters of support
It is necessary to submit two supporting letters, one from the applicant's advisor or chairperson and the other from one of the applicant's teachers.
