Nation 24 Hours Later: EFCC Visits Former Chairman of APC, Abdullahi Adamu

The agency that fights economic sabotage has started tracking Abdullahi Adamu, the chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), for failing to disclose the whereabouts of more than 32 billion naira the party collected from nomination form sales in the 2023 election.

After Abdullahi Adamu delivered his resignation letter to Femi Gbajabiamila, the EFCC visited his home on Sunday night, WHISTLER said.

At 8pm, EFCC agents searched his Ali Akilu Crescent, Aso Rock Villa home.

The EFCC officer who observed this report and requested anonymity said that he was not part of the team that went to the president's house, but a colleague who was told that the police guarding Adam's residence would not let them in.

As of this report, the EFCC spokeswoman has not responded to calls and texts seeking comment.
