Nigeria: Some people broke into a government food warehouse in Adamawa
The governor of Adamawa state in the northeast of Nigeria, Ahmadu Finitiri has declared a curfew after some people broke into a food warehouse owned by the National Emergency Management Agency, NEMA.
Among the food items that the people have picked up are those that the state government has provided to ease the pain of the withdrawal of fuel subsidy by the government of the country.
According to reports, most of those who did this act were young people, where they were heard saying 'we are tired and hungry', while they were picking bags of rice, manja chips, boxes of pasta and other important items.
The police used tear gas to disperse the people, however, some of the looters continued to be there.
The newspaper 'Daily Trust' which is published in Nigeria reported that now the mind has calmed down; because in the current situation, the army occupied this place to make sure that the destruction did not continue.
