Now-now: Tinubu Meets with Former National Chairman of APC and his Secretary
On Tuesday at the Presidential Palace in Abuja, the President, Bola Tinubu, met with Senator Abdullahi Adamu, the former national chairman of the APC, and Senator Iyiola Omisore, the party's secretary.
Early last week, prior to the National Executive Council meeting set for July 18 and 19, Adamu and Omisore reportedly announced their resignations.
Although the purpose of the former leaders' visit has not been made public, it is anticipated that it will have something to do with efforts to resolve issues involving the party's leadership.
