Onana's Hope In Manchester United
The new custodian for Manchester United stated that he was pleased to be back and expressed his desire to help the squad win the European Champions Cup.
Inter Milan and the squad paid 43.8 million pounds to purchase the custodian of the Cameroon team, and an additional 3.4 million pounds for the players. Manchester United accepted an offer of 47.2 million pounds to purchase the custodian Andre Onana.
The 27-year-old football player had to apply for a visa in order to enter the nation, despite Manchester United's hopes that he will travel there to compete in preseason matches. Erik ten Hag, the manager of Manchester United, sought to purchase the player for him at the conclusion of the previous campaign after coaching him three years prior in the Ajad football team.
Ten Hag thinks that Onana will benefit Manchester United in the 2023–2024 campaign, which is what ultimately led David de Gea to decide to quit United despite being requested to stay longer.
Onana played with Ajad for seven and a half seasons until moving to Inter in July 2022. During his time there, Inter finished third in the Italian top division while Onana recorded eight clean sheets in 24 Serie A games.
He also participated in 13 games of the Champions League, where Inter finished second in the tournament after Manchester City won the cup, scoring zero goals in eight games.
After purchasing Mason Mount from Chelsea for 55 million pounds, Onana is Manchester United's second acquisition of the year. The team is also looking to get Danish player Rasmus Hojlund, who plays for Atlanta.
