The bodies of 10 children who drowned in a river in Rwanda have been found

On Monday at around 5 o'clock, the event took place in Mushisiro in the Muhanga district. The children's bodies, which range in age from 11 to 15, were discovered on Tuesday and Wednesday.

The bodies of 10 children who drowned in the Nyabarongo River in the southern portion of Rwanda on Monday have been discovered by authorities there.

Alice Kayitesi, the governor of the country's southern district, told the AP news agency that the incident occurred to the children when they were escorting a man to the area a few days after they had gone home for a break from school.

Around 5 p.m. local time, the incident took place in Mushisiro in the Muhanga area. The children's bodies, which range in age from 11 to 15, were discovered on Tuesday and Wednesday.

The boat overturned with 14 passengers inside, including the driver, a 41-year-old man.
