The Governor of Gombe sent the names of 17 Commissioners to the State Assembly
Gombe State Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya has submitted the names of 17 elected commissioners for consideration to the state parliament.
Professor Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi, the state government's secretary, gave the names to Barista Rukaiyatu A. Jalo, the parliament's accountant, who then gave them to the speaker of the house.
The elected commissioners are Dr. Abdullahi Bappah Garkuwa, from the Gombe local government, Adamu Inuwa Pantami, from the Akko local government, Barista Zubairu Mohammed Umar, from Funakaye, and Dr. Aishatu Umar Maigari, who was chosen from the Dukku local government.
The others are Dr. Usman Maijama Kallamu, Dr. Usman Mallet, Dr. Habu Dahiru, Lt. Col. Abdullahi Bello (retired), Lt. Col. Abdullahi Bello (retired), Lt. Col. Horn Asmau Iganus, Shongom, and Mijinyawa Ardo Tilde, Funakaye local government.
There are also Salihu Baba Alkali from Nafada local government and Sanusi Ahmed Maidala, who was chosen by the governor from Akko local government, as well as Mohammed Shettima Gadam from Kwami, Mohammed Gambo Successor from All, Mohammed Saidu Fawu from Billiri, Nasiru Mohammed Aliyu from Yamaltu-Deba, and Mohammed Shettima Gadam from Kwami.
