The House of Representatives determines the new security chiefs

The process of choosing the new national security chiefs nominated by President Bola Tinubu has started in the Nigerian House of Representatives.

Today's review in the House of Commons is being led by Julius Ihonvbere, the majority leader.

This comes after the Senate's evaluation of them from last week.

In an effort to modernize the security sector, President Bola Tinubu fired all senior security officers on June 19 and replaced them with fresh hires.
