Tinubu did what Nigerian leaders failed to do - Prince Bakura

Toshon, Senator Ahmad Sani Yariman Bakura, the governor of Zamfara state, complimented Bola Tinubu for his actions in removing fuel subsidies and adjusting the value of the dollar.

The Prince of Bakura claimed in a BBC interview that the country's president took actions that other national leaders did not.

The two measures, he continued, had long been promised but had not been carried out until now.

The former senator stated, "These are the steps that Buhari has previously promised to take, but he postponed them to six months because he knew that in the fifth month he would be out of power."

Prince Bakura stated that although there will be challenges at first, there is hope for improvement down the road.

"Every Muslim knows that Allah (S.W.T.) said that in every difficulty there should be ease, if steps are taken that people feel as though they are being persecuted from the beginning," he said.
