'Tinubu's new ministers will be selected'
The Nigerian Senate has announced that it will begin reviewing the candidates President Bola Tinubu sent to it for appointment as ministers on Monday of the following week.
The list of 28 names that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu gave to the House for identification was read aloud by Senator Godswill Akpabio on Thursday.
After the nation's citizens demanded to know who would make up the next president's executive council, this occurred.
Sulaiman Kawu Sumaila, a senator from Nigeria, said in an interview with the BBC that "even though the rest (names) have not been finalised, we will start evaluating the 28 that were presented next Monday, and since each must state to get a minister, as they have shown that the other list of names will soon be presented to us."
According to Senator Kawu, "Releasing the names of the opposition in the list of ministers is something that will create mutual understanding and work together."
