Wagner fighters are training the Belarusian army

Belarus announced in a statement that Wagner's mercenaries have begun preparing their forces.

Weeks after their rampage in Russia, the announcement is the first time that some of Wagner's fighters have been officially confirmed to have returned to Belarus.

In a video released by the Ministry of National Defence, soldiers are being trained by some individuals wearing uniforms.

The amount of Wegner fighters in Belarus is not specifically mentioned in the video.

In exchange for an agreement to put an end to their uprising against Moscow, President Alexander Lukashenko offered to accept them.

Although it claimed to be closely following the developments in Belarus, Ukraine said it had not yet detected any threats.
