At the Women's World Cup in Dunedin on Sunday, the Netherlands defeated Portugal 1-0 thanks to Stefanie Van der Gragt's goal just before halftime following a VAR review.

In the group stage of the European Championship last year, the Dutch team defeated Portugal 3-2; however, this time, the Iberian team struggled to play well against the Netherlands, who are known for their orange shirts, and did not have an opportunity to attack until the 82nd minute.

Van der Gragt headed the ball into the goal for the Dutch goal in the 13th minute from the penalty spot, but the assistant referee raised the flag for stealing because she believed Jill Roord had fouled her.
