In an open letter sent by the coalition to President Tinubu, she said that there is a need for Nigeria to be open minded about its position on what is happening in Niger, especially considering the long-standing good relationship between the two countries. , mutual friends.


The President of Nigeria, Bola Tinubu, is the head of the West African Development Organization (ECOWAS) which has given the military in power in Niger seven days to return power to the deposed President Bazoum Mohamed or take action to use it. strong against them.


The coalition, which consists of experts from different walks of life, joined Ecowas and other countries and international organizations in condemning the coup in Niger, but said that a peaceful way is the best way to solve the problem.


She emphasized her support for the use of kings, religious scholars and organizations in contacting and seeking interests between the soldiers who seized power in Niger to avoid anything that will escalate the conflict.


Also, the coalition has warned President Tinubu on the need to improve the way of releasing information about the measures being taken against Niger to avoid falling into the trap of fake news on the position of Nigeria and President Tinubu regarding this crisis.
