The army statement said the new governors of the states are:
Brigadier General Ibro Boulama - governor of Agadez
Brigadier General Iro Oumarou - the new governor of Dosso state
Brigadier General Ibrahim Bagadoma - Diffa state
Brigadier General Abdou Assoumane Harouna - the new governor of Yamai
Major Colonel Oumarou Tawayé - the new governor of Tahoua state
Lieutenant Colonel Maïna Boukar - the new governor of Tillabery state.
Colonel EF Labo Issoufou - the new governor of Zinder state
