Students can now fulfill their ambitions of attending college with the support of the "Courage to Grow Scholarship."
We don't want the aspirations and plans for college that so many young men and women have to be overlooked due to budgetary concerns. Even if it may often be easier to give up, it takes a great deal of guts and determination to press on.
Our purpose with the "Courage to Grow Scholarship" is to assist students in realizing their aspirations for further education. When some worries, such as "How will I pay for college?" are removed, students are better able to concentrate on their studies and the task at hand.
Since a family already faces difficulties in the current economy, we would like to lessen the financial strain that a college degree can have on people and their families.
Further details regarding the Courage to Grow Scholarship
Juniors and seniors in high school, as well as college students, who have a minimum GPA of 2.5 or above, are qualified. Just US citizens, please. It must be a 250-word essay or less. Each month, one $500 award will be given out. Reapplications are accepted every month of the year.
Procedure for Scholarship Award: 1) A week following the application deadline, the final candidates will be chosen.
2) A certificate of award will be given to each scholarship recipient as a token of appreciation.
3) If the following conditions are met, scholarship funds will be deposited into the student's college or university account:
A) Documentation of college enrolment obtained from the department of college administration.
B) Documentation showing a grade point average of 2.5 or higher was acquired.
4) The maximum grant for a scholarship is $500.00 USD.

This prize is available to two-year colleges.
