Denmark said it will take steps to ban the burning of the Holy Qur'an
The minister described the burning of Al-Qur'an as a form of contempt and lack of appreciation, which he said are harmful to the country of Denmark and its interests.
Denmark's Minister of Justice Peter Hummelgaard announced the plan to take action today Friday during a meeting with the public, where he said the government will submit to the National Assembly a bill prohibiting the abuse or desecration of religiously important things. .
