Despite being dissatisfied with the situation the country is in since the overthrow of the elected President Mohamed Bazoum, the former rebels who rebelled in Niger in the past said they do not support the return to rebellion.

This is coming after a former rebel leader in Niger launched an attempt to fight against the military that staged a coup d'état on July 26 this year, which prompted the former rebels to issue a statement of rejection. and the movement of former rebel leader Mohamed Lawren who is one of those who rebelled years ago.

The establishment of the organization by the former leader of the rebels with the aim of supporting the efforts to restore the rule of law in Niger is the first sign of the emergence of the struggle to show resistance in the country to the coup by the military.

However, the former rebels have called on the people of Niger to be united, according to Malam Bilal Shima, a former rebel from the North of the country.

The former rebels have expressed their dissatisfaction with ECOWAS' decision to impose sanctions on Niger.

However, they hoped that the ECOWAS Organization would follow a diplomatic path to find a compromise between it and the military leaders, instead of using military force.
