General Kukasheka on the ECOWAS plan to take military action in Niger
The Senate of Nigeria has expressed its opposition to the use of military force against the soldiers who made a coup in the Republic of Niger as requested by ECOWAS, as long as diplomatic measures fail.
Many other groups from Nigeria have also expressed their opposition to the use of military force because of the possible consequences.
The Alumni Association of the NIPPS Training Center for Security Officers and Senior Government Officials has also expressed a similar position, as will be heard in the conversation between Bashir Ibrahim Idris and its spokesperson General Sani Usman Kukasheka, who is retired.
