 Governor Abba Appointed 15 New Heads of Government Agencies and Ministries in Kano

Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf has appointed 15 people as heads of other agencies and government departments.

The announcement of the appointment was made by the chief press secretary of the governor, Sanusi Bature Dawakin Tofa.

He said the appointment was effective immediately.

Those appointed include Professor Aliyu Isa Aliyu, the Director General of the Kano State Statistics Authority and Kabiru Ado Zakirai, the head of the higher secondary schools management board and the head of the teachers' house.

The others include Hon. Alkasim Hussain Wudil, the head of the Aliko Dangote Vocational Training Center and Farouq Abdu Sumaila, the head of the Advisory and Leadership Commission and Alhaji Umar Shehu Minjibir, the head of the Kano State Labor Commission.

Governor Abba, CP Kabiru Muhammad Gwarzo, who retired as the head of the security training school in Gabasawa, then Dr Abdullahi Garba Ali, the head of the technical training school in Kura and Hajiya Shema'u Aliyu, the head of the training center for foreign affairs, among others.
