 INEC plans to send more than 11 thousand BVAS machines for the governorship election in Bayelsa, Imo and Kogi states


The National Electoral Commission (INEC) will deploy 11,355 voter identification machines to identify voters in the November 11 governorship election in Kogi, Bayelsa and Imo states. .


A senior official in the agency whose name has been withheld disclosed this to our correspondent at the weekend.


According to INEC, Bayelsa state has 2,244 polling stations while Kogi has 3,508 polling stations and Imo has 4,758 polling stations.


If it can be remembered, the elections for the President and the members of the Federal Parliament held on February 25, 2023, encountered the problem of the BVAS Device.
