Joe Biden paid a condolence visit to the people who were devastated by the wildfires
The President of the United States, Joe Biden, paid a condolence visit to the brave people of Maui where he visited the places that faced the worst wildfires on the island of Hawaii at the beginning of this month.
Mr Biden said that the country will give them all the support and help they need.
He then promised to rebuild the historic town of Lahaina which was burned by the forest fire, and to provide all the amenities needed in the town.
The BBC correspondent said that the president has been criticized because he has not said anything about the terrible forest fire for days, and for not doing what should be done in time to deliver relief goods to Maui.
