Nigerians must avoid traveling abroad to seek medical treatment
The Minister of Health, Ali Pate, said there is a need to improve health care in the country, and end the need for Nigerians to go abroad for treatment.
Professor Pate said this when he was meeting with the Secretary General of the Ministry of Health, Kachollom Daju, shortly after taking the oath of office yesterday.
He complained about how he sees a lot of Nigerians going abroad for treatment, especially every time he travels from Addis Ababa in Ethiopia to New Delhi in India.
The new Minister of Health said that the national health system must be improved, and there is a need for the contribution of all stakeholders in this field, in order to achieve the success that has been put forward.
